The "National Museum" is home to the most important works of art from Thai culture and history. Handicrafts, Buddha sculptures and pavilions are among the sights of the museum.
The "National Gallery" shows contemporary art of Thailand, in the building of the former Mint. There is also a room with art made by the Thai kings themselfes. The "National Gallery" also organizes art exhibitions.
4 Thanon Chao Fa Road, Phra Nakhon
Queen "Sirkit" opened the gallery in 2003 dedicated to contemporary Thai art. The gallery supports young, unknown artists. But also renowned artists can exhibit here.
