Salzach

The river "Salzach" rises in the "Kitzbühel Alps" at an altitude of 2,300 m, near the border between the federal states of Tyrol and Salzburg. The "Salzach" flows through Salzburg and becomes just north of the city the border between Germany and Austria. The "Salzach" flows into the river "Inn" near Burghausen. The name "Salzach" originated from the transport of salt on the river.
