No region of China has as many archaeological treasures as the province of Shanxi. Xi'an has been the center of the country for centuries. The "Shanxi Lishi Bowuguan" (Historical Museum of Shanxi Province) is one of the best museums in China. The museum displays valuable art treasures from all over the province from the Neolithic to recent new finds. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the Terracotta Army and the Qin Dynasty. The exhibition is really unique and very well presented.
