The Changjiang (Long River) "Yangtze" is with it's 6,380 km the longest river in China. In 2008 the "Three Gorges Dam" has been built. The height of the 650 km-long barrier lake will rise approximatly 175 m. 

The "Pipa Shan Park" sits on the highest hill of the Chongqing Peninsula. Via steep stairs you will reach the 345 m high peak. Even up here you can not escape from the sultry city, but the lush greenery and the great view compensate for the climb.
