The National Gallery of Modern Art has a great collection of modern art. On display are mainly works of Indian artists who have created very inspiring works of modern art. In addition, the museum organizes numerous temporary exhibitions on specific topics or artists.

The Mahatma Gandhi Smriti is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, who was shot 1948 at this place by Nathuram Godes, a Hindu nationalist. His last steps are formed by concret footprints, up to the place where Gandhi finaly died.
