The "Museum of Fine Arts" in Seville shows predominantly Christian art from the Middle Ages. Anyone who is not interested in religious paintings, can enjoy the the wonderful building. Wooden ceilings and a green courtyard make the museums building itself worth a visit.
The "Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares" in the "Pabellon Mudejar" shows costumes and other folk art of the andalucia. The extensive collection consists of clothes, household items, weapons, furniture, drawers, guitars, jewelry and many other historic items.
The Archaeological Museum of Seville hosts the most beautiful artifacts from Italica. The Roman settlement located a few kilometers north of Seville is worth a visit for it's beautiful mosaics. The museum has even older finds in his exhibition. Particularly interesting are the over 5,000-year-old objects of the early Iberians.
During the construction works of the "Metropol Parasol" (Setas de Sevilla) remains of Roman and Moorish buildings have been found. The "Antiquarium de Sevilla" is located in the basement of the building and shows the remains of the city's history.
